Introduction:
In partnership with RT07 and BruceGreySimcoe, Kincardine Tourism enlisted our services to produce a series of 30-second videos intended to showcase the town and its offerings during 3 peak seasons - spring, summer and fall.
H Visual was given creative liberty with the concept and scripting, allowing us to create a cohesive theme throughout the 3 videos complemented by stunning visuals of the town of Kincardine and its natural landscapes.
The Challenge:
Kincardine Tourism had never enlisted professional videography prior to working with us, and had no existing video assets for their marketing initiatives. Furthermore, the budget was very lean, requiring our team to be extra creative about how we shot and be ultra efficient with our time. Hired talent or compensation for participating businesses was not in the budget, nor were multiple shoot days for each season. Additionally, the success of the videos relied heavily on the weather complying with our scheduled shoot days - a challenge for any production shooting outdoors.
The Solution:
The H Visual team maximized our shoot days and resources available to us, enlisting local businesses and residents to participate in the videos. Our crew was lean, further allowing us to save on production costs, and weather was on our side.
Combining Kincardine’s stunning natural landscapes and landmarks with human interaction, music and a voiceover to match helped position the town as a desirable tourist destination for visitors during the spring, summer and fall.
The Benefit:
The first video of the series was released in June 2018 and very soon after its release, gained a lot of traction on social media. Engagement via shares, views and likes were high, providing Kincardine Tourism with great organic exposure. To date, the video has been shared over 1000 times and viewed more than 65,000 times!
Kincardine Tourism now has a library of evergreen video content to use for current and future marketing initiatives.
The Result:
H Visual produced 3 seasonally themed 30-second videos - spring, summer, fall - and 1 overview video, 60 seconds in length.
The combination of videos we produced have amassed views in excess of 80K and
